Objective
Keep approved Studio defaults accurate and confirm which saved version is active.
Before you begin
- Have the approved time zone, week start, business identity, and monitored reply-to address.
- Use an account authorized to save configuration. History access and restoration may be unavailable to your role.
Instructions
Open Settings > General
Read Current settings and the active version before editing Organization basics. Check Time zone and Week begins against the studio’s approved defaults.
Choose Time zone and Week starts on
Select the approved Time zone and Sunday or Monday in Week starts on. Locale and Currency are displayed as read-only values.
Save the approved basics
Review Change summary, then select Save changes. Wait for Settings saved and active and verify Current settings. Use Cancel changes if the edit is no longer intended.
Update business contact defaults separately
Return to Settings and select Profile. Review Legal business name, Default reply-to email, Business phone, and Studio website. Select Save changes and verify Current active values.
Open Configuration History
Return to Settings > Configuration History > Open history. Review Configuration events for the setting area, changed fields, time, and version. Review Saved versions for organization basics.
Restore an approved organization-basics version if necessary
For an available earlier Saved version, select Restore version only after approval. Confirm that it should become active now. Wait for Saved version restored and active, then reopen General to check the result.
Result: The approved basics and contact defaults are active, and history identifies the saved change or restoration.
Troubleshooting
The save result is unconfirmed or another person changed the settings.
Reload before retrying, compare Current settings or Current active values with the intended change, and enter only the remaining approved edits. Contact Orbit support if saving still fails.
I cannot change Currency, Locale, or restore a version from another area.
Currency and Locale are read-only here. The Saved versions restore controls apply to organization basics; use the relevant setting area to make an approved correction elsewhere. Ask a Studio administrator about access or policy decisions.
Result
Check the relevant schedule and effective times after a time-zone change. History preserves earlier versions; restoring creates a new active version.
Support
Ask a Studio administrator to approve defaults or a restoration. Contact Orbit support for an unresolved save, history, or restoration error.
