Objective
Save an accurate class record that staff can find and finish preparing for enrollment.
Before you begin
- Use an account with class-writing access. Have an approved instructor, location, room, term, category, age limits, capacity, and session time.
- Have required setup choices available before creating the class. Pricing is configured separately after saving.
Instructions
Open “Classes” and select “New class”
Use Search classes first to check whether the offering already exists. Select New class to open Create a class.
Enter the class and session details
Enter Class name and Age range. Under Session time, choose Day, Starts at, and Ends at. Set the end after the start. Enter Capacity using the shown format, such as 0 / 14 for a new class with fourteen places.
Choose the class’s resources and eligibility
Choose Instructor, Location, Room, Term, and Category. Use an active room at the selected location. Enter Minimum age and Maximum age, and select any required Prerequisite classes.
Set “Display channels” and select “Save class”
Set Website listing, Parent portal, and Online registration to the approved combination. Check all fields, then select Save class. Wait for Class saved and check the selected class’s details and Website, Portal, Online, and State columns.
Result: The class is saved and remains available after refresh with its chosen schedule, resources, eligibility, and display settings.
Finish pricing and check the schedule
Use Tuition & enrollment fees on the saved class to review or add its approved pricing. Open Schedule and check the recurring session, room, and instructor before using the class for enrollment.
Troubleshooting
The class will not save because a time or resource is invalid.
Choose a Day and an Ends at time later than Starts at. Check that Room belongs to Location and that the instructor, term, category, and prerequisites are available. Ask an authorized Studio manager to correct missing setup choices.
New class is disabled or the saved class is hard to find.
A disabled New class needs class-writing access from an authorized Studio manager. For a saved class, check Search classes and the Location, Session, Category, Instructor, and Record state filters before creating another offering.
Result
Verify pricing and schedule readiness, then use the class for approved placements. Studio-wide public listing settings also affect website discovery.
Support
Ask an authorized Studio manager about class setup, pricing, eligibility, or publication policy. Contact Orbit for a persistent save error after correcting the displayed issue.
